Q. Does Adobe software I’m subscribed to have to connect to the internet to work?

Answer:

No, for desktop apps in Creative Cloud, such as Photoshop and Illustrator, are installed directly on your computer. So, you don’t need an ongoing Internet connection to use them.

However, internet connection is required the first time you download, install and activate your apps. You can use the desktop apps in offline mode as long as the subscription is valid. The desktop apps will attempt to validate your software licenses every 30 days or any other duration set by Adobe.

Internet connection is also required for product update, download web contents, access to library and certain cloud services and features.

Q. How do I access the apps in Adobe Creative Cloud?

Answer:

The apps are installed and run on your desktop, just like any other desktop application. The first time you download any individual creative apps, you automatically download Creative Cloud for your desktop. You use the Creative Cloud desktop app to access, download, and update any individual creative apps.

Q. Can I access Adobe Creative Cloud on multiple devices?

Answer:

Yes. You can download and install Creative Cloud apps on multiple computers. However, activation is limited to two machines per individual associated with the membership, and you may not use the software on these devices simultaneously. You can install on multiple devices but login only on 1 device simultaneously.

Q: How to install?

No CD disc or any physical software installer will be provided because you need to download the latest software installer from the official website for cybersecurity reason and as per the T&C of Adobe, Inc.

You can install your desktop app on multiple laptop, desktop or device. But, you can only login with your Adobe account on 1 device simultaneously.

Before you start:

To download the Desktop App:

Step 1 - Sign up or login your Adobe account on creativecloud.adobe.com.

Step 2 - Download and install the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.

Step 3 - Once the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app is correctly installed in your desktop or device, login desktop app with your Adobe account.

Step 4 - You can then select the Adobe desktop app (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign & etc) to be downloaded and installed in your desktop or device.

If you already have an updated version of Adobe apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign & etc) correctly installed in your desktop or device, you don't need to download and re-install. Please login with your Adobe account.
